OUR STORY

The Meyer family comes from a long line of winegrowers since the 17th century. They have always known, from generation to generation, to pass on this passion for wine.
In 1976, Hubert succeeded his father André at the head of the estate. He then developed direct sales in bottles.
During the 1980s, Jocelyne, his wife joined the estate and brought a new perspective on wine while being responsible for welcoming customers to the cellar and the gîte.

In 2009, Pierre (son) arrived in the winery after studying viticulture and oenology in Rouffach. His work at that time was to develop new wine and estates like Riesling Grand Cru Winzenberg, Cremant Chardonnay and Cremant Rosé.
In 2011, he took over as the head of the winery and became the only winemaker, while Hubert started working more in the vineyard and slowly getting to retire. Pierre is currently the 10th generation in the house, and the 11th is on her way (we can’t wait to meet her). The winery is slowly in the process of conversion to organic wines.
